Should South Asian Politics should continue to be banned on this sub

Probably a year ago, a Sri Lankan working in Pakistan was lynched in public allegedly for blasphemy, as bad as it is, the government however inefficient and highly islamic it is worked to give him justice.

My observation (which may be incorrect) is that though religious minorities have more rights in India and overall are probably treated better, the tensions between groups are also more exacerbated and used as political talking points more often, which creates more of an air of hostility between then. In Pakistan religious minorities usually aren't even on peoples' minds till a highly publicized incident like the one you mentioned happens, and then the government will heavily crackdown to save face and maybe stick it to India a bit. In Pakistan it's usually the ethnic minorities protesting mistreatment from the government (ex. recent protests in Gilgit-Baltistan and Balochistan, the Pashtun Tahafuz Movement) not religious ones per se.

Probably a side-effect of India having a larger religious minority (15-20% of the country) compared to Pakistan (~5%).
