I can’t stand when people try to compare our experience with Latinos or black people. It isn’t an oppression Olympics.

Black and Latino people experience more racism and hardships than Desi people on average. I don't think that's a controversial opinion. The dumb thing is that Desis use that idea to either push the statement that "Black and Latino people have it way worse, so stop complaining", or to try their hardest to amplify every single vague microagression they've experienced in their life to make it seem like they're just as oppressed as Black and Latino people. Two things can be bad at the same time and you can condemn both without trying to condemn one more than the other or get pissy about people not condemning one issue as much as they're condemning the other.
