Should the wall be built? Why or why not?

I'm assuming you're talking about the southern U.S. border wall and that answer is no... it's a colossal waste of time and money for something that wont prevent anything. Remember a few years back when a tunnel network was found from the Yucatan Peninsula into California? Or when illegal immigrants were coming to Florida from Cuba in makeshift rafts? Theres any number of ways that an illegal immigrant can make their way into the United States. When there's a will, there's a way. If the feds truly wanted to keep illegal immigrants out they should take that money to bolster existing agencies and bump up the penalties for employment of illegal immigrants. That would make the risk not worth the reward of employing them. No work = no money to send home to the family; no money = no reason to come to the U.S
