Why do some insist that the art style is "heavily influenced" by Japanese animation?

this falls into a larger topic i find very interesting, and have made some small study of myself. i would like to discuss it, but the second half of your post takes a nosedive into spiteful, "stupid weeaboos" territory, and sparks concern in me that you may not be here to have a conversation in good faith.

with the cautious hope that you truly are interested in discussing the topic, i'd like to start with your point about Disney influencing anime. are you familiar with the impact of Disney on Japanese animation? as i recall, the impact is mostly seen in today's anime and manga with mascot-like characters and in the presentation of humor. but since you seem to be so familiar with this specific exchange, are there any other major impacts i'm missing?
