Some misconceptions about the scientific process.

Yea. I understand science. You dont understand how these things are advised. Politicians make the decisions which can be wrong (cough Desantis cough) and stick to their guns for grandiose political power and monetary gain. I didn't know who desantis was and didn't care before he started bucking covid and selling mockery merchandise of it to make a quick buck and quick political influence in the Republican party.

Is electricity science? Or is it manufactured because you have a tv? Research and development is a part of so many businesses but arent considered scientific unless it undergoes test after test after test.

You also prove you didn't read my post by bringing up "flatten the curve" that was an initial policy before we knew the transmissibility, persistence, and severity of the virus. New information show it was going to be way more than two weeks.

They have to dumb down their message because not everyone has critical thinking skills. This stuff needs to be easily digestible to the masses. Otherwise confusion will make matters worse.
