Why are African Americans claiming they are the real Jews though? I’m not religious so I don’t know anything about this.

I don’t know if you’re aware, but sadly, the comments of desean Jackson and Nick cannon have encouraged this ideology amongst the some black community and movements like Blm. It’s not just the radicals believing this anymore, I have close friends that are justifying the comments of desean jackson and Nick Cannon saying they did nothing wrong, they are only speaking the truth, and things like that but they don’t have a clue what they are talking about. Sadly, I have no knowledge on this either so I can’t refute what they are saying nor can i educate them.

I’ve recently read an article by jemele hill concerning the Desean Jackson situation and what stood out to me was that antisemitism is actually very prevalent in the black community. I’m confused to why antisemitism is so prevalent amongst the black community? Also, this might be a dumb question, but why do people hate Judaism so much?

I’m an millennial and I live in one of the most progressive cities in the United States and what concerns me is that I’m seeing more and more antisemitic rhetoric in my area and within my generation.
