A minor decline. In this game environment it's difficult for games to break a million copies sold. Hell, most developers would love a million just to try and break even. Pokemon is flirting with 16 million copies, about a quarter of which happen within a week or as pre-orders. They slapped Pokemon on a phone app for exercise and it became a hit. Pokemon is not going anywhere.

If a slightly over 1% shift is enough to make a company run for the hills and change their franchise from the bottom up, we'd have a much different industry. Not sure where the hostility is coming from on your end, these are just the way things are going and have been since Silver and Gold came out.
