[Spoiler] Year one of D1 is looking to be more engaging than Year two of D2

The reason why I prefer the D1 nightfalls is that it didn't force you to play at one speed.

That's fine. My point is just a different perspective. Often times I don't post how I feel, just play devils advocate.

I personally don't mind either, but I wouldn't say one way or the other. I can certainly understand disliking it, or the old orbit system, but I enjoy they're offering different takes than more damage or increased health.

What I said about the MIDA was more about how the gun wasn't as bad as Thorn, but it is more widely used due to how easy it is to obtain, giving the illusion that it is worse than Thorn.

Based off how some people talk, you'd think the Vex was something Xur sold as often as Voidsfang Vestment, when very few people had it when it was at its peak.

But I guess that's fair, though I think people just want to see more variety, even if PVP will never work that way.

With exotic quests, I doubt that bungie could come up with several quests that were as detailed and fun as Outbreak Prime. With quests like the exotic swords you were challenged by having to kill mini-bosses in a certain order / within a time limit. A large majority of the quest steps for the world-specific quests ( excluding the "speak to X vendor" steps ) are to kill enemies or kill things in a certain way / certain weapon.

I'd certainly agree they were more complicated and more than meets the eye, but they still boil down to very simple things. Like Rat King had that 5+ minutes on the timer part, but they still largely boil down to killing things like a lot of the original ones.
