Standoff at Sparrow Creek release?

Hey, I saw you cross post a question about the end of sparrow creek Posted ages ago and was such a trip to see you get into it so deeply— Dunham is a friend of mine and I think I read every draft ad naseum for a few years straight. I just wanted to say (because he’s not an internet guy, he’ll probably never see your Q) that in his mind from what he told me, Gannon always goes back to the police. I love that you revel in that moment of decision, but he always felt Gannon (even Keating) failed at being alone all along because they still joined a militia and went along with their ideologies. In the end, being alone isn’t a real choice for a human being. It just delays the inevitable.

I’m sorry to spurt this out, and I hope it’s satisfying insight. :P
