Referring players discussing topics that are covered in new light / new players stickies to those posts is fine, and downvoting SGA posts that are really old / redundant isn't really a huge deal per se. Maybe a new category like Eyes Up, Guardian for New Light SGAs is called for?

That said, I think that stuff is naturally gonna get buried below first page regardless of downvotes, due to more veteran / returning players upvoting newer info. So the downvotes aren't really warranted even if new categories and stickies are. Just runs the risk of making new players feel unwelcome on the sub.

And definitely don't downvote question flair posts, that's just bad form.
