Stop using VPNs.

He doesn't really say anything wrong or contradictory to what is constantly talked about in this sub. But he is being very simplistic, and makes a number of terminology and conceptual errors.

One big error, and it is a common one, and quite annoying to me is that he only talks about web traffic. He says something like "the VPN blah blah blah your web traffic". Well, the VPN (usually) handles all your traffic, not just web. If you are trying to be anonymous, you need to remember all the various kinds of traffic you may be generating, not just what is from your web browser. Things like virtual drive traffic, various apps calling home for statistics and updates, bypassing network restrictions (school, hotel, airport), all the various discovery protocols that never seem to shut up and stop shouting "here I am!!". Also better security on open WiFi networks, etc.

He ignores all the many reasons other than anonymity that someone might use a VPN. He mentions a few at the end, but misses some important ones. He really should begun with the various reasons that someone might use a VPN, and clarify that he was only talking about one of those reasons.
