We are a couple months behind on rent. Our settlement agreement outlined mid-month payments that would get us caught up on our arrears, of which we have paid in full and on time. We didn't realize that there was a strict requirement to pay the initial rent on time or an order would be filed (stupid mistake, we know) and so since we did not pay yesterday, we received notice that they filed.

We are going to file to set aside the order and exhaust all resources to pay the arrears in the agreement in full, but I'm terrified that they will still evict us anyway. I don't know how long it will take for the board to decide whether to evict us or not, nor am I sure how long it would take for a sheriff to show up. Everything is closed on the weekends and I don't know what to do in the meantime except breakdown.
