Students, why did the nice, chill teacher get fired?

When I was in college, we had a really chill professor. He was so chill, he barely attended classes (he didn't gave us any reason why, but we do know he teaches in another university that is infront of ours so I doubt he doesn't have enough time to travel between to schools). During finals week, he tried to bribe our class with an automatic pass if we like and share a photo on facebook that is supposed to be for a contest in the other university he taught at. Majority of my classmates felt insulted (because we didn't learn anything from him and tuition is expensive af so attending a class with a barely there professor, who attended class less than 10 times in an entire semester, is a waste of money and time) so we wrote a letter to our dean about what happened. It was later investigated and he was fired.

Everyone in my class still passed because the dean thought that our honesty and integrity is enough even though we didn't have any exams or activies to be graded.
