Back to the topic, if I had a supervisor telling me that only incompetent doctors treated Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva (FOP) because of its scarcity, I would be concerned. Much like FOP, DID has evidence in the form of MRIs, brain scans, etc to definitively identify the brain disorder. Basing a doctor’s credibility based upon the “if I don’t see it, it doesn’t exist” mentality is truly a textbook definition of projection.
