Bethesda is a mess

Isn't every gaming company a mess right now? Other than perhaps CDPR, Nintendo, and a handful of others, are there any gaming companies out there that actively fucking their fan base right now?

Personally I don't think it's just a gaming thing, it's the result of a new culture of business. That new culture is that the stockholder is the customer, not the people purchasing the product.

It holds that increasing shareholder value is the only purpose of a business. Everything else is incidental. Wages, benefits, employee morale, manufacturing, product development, customer service, quality control are all expenses. Necessary evils that eat into the bottom line and distract from the company's purpose: to increase shareholder value.

I can't imagine what it's like to be a millennial or zoomer launching a 40-year career in this shit-hole. :\
