Alright so listen I should clarify by saying I'm not remotely a tankie, tankies fucking hate me. However this is a bad strawman.

When Bush refers to Islam, he refers to all denominations, Sunni, Shia, Uighur and more. Sunni muslims are estimated to be about 85-90% of those practicing the faith. Uighurs are a minority not just in all muslim faith, but in China too. These are just facts, I'm not defending China because they aren't going after as many muslims as Bush.

The crackdown is uniquely on the Uighurs and not other muslim denominations (afaik) because (According to the CCP so take it with a heap of salt) they believe in seperatism from the Han Chinese.
