Taoiseach awaits outcome of 'volatile' week in UK

A mountain out of a mole hill. Doesn’t matter if theres a hard border. I don’t think the RA will start a guerrilla war again just because some border patrol agent checks vans and lorries for imported tayto crisps, milk and beef cattle. Even with the hardest of borders they are never gonna start asking for the passports of citizens who aren’t driving vans/ goods vehicles. Why would they. We have and still will have the common UK/Irish travel area. Some people don’t seem to understand this. They are gonna be checking HGVs not paddy with his wife and kids on an outing to the north. Same with workers and trains/ buses. Its a completely overblown shit show. The comprehensive checks in the troubles were due to terrorism essentially. And if the RA have a problem with guards checking tayto crisp documents so the correct VAT is paid then i think that says more about them than about the Brits. And on top of that off, i really don’t give a fuck anymore. I votes remain but im sick of this overblown lies and excuses upon excuses to ignore the vote. I live 20 miles from the border. Lived in dublin for 5 years. Crossed the border 3 times a week at some points. I will be impacted by any sort of border change. But the truth is The british don’t car about ireland or northern ireland. The economies of ireland is tiny compared to the uk and NI is an economic shithole. It would be stupid for the brits to let themselves be held hostage by the threat of violence between two groups of unemployed chavs on the north of this damp shithole rock in the Atlantic i unfortunately call home. Ill be voting leave next time because the lies are no longer working on me.
