Teachers say Wikipedia is unreliable but they give us 13 year old textbooks to use

It's not only possible, it's very likely on top. America is far from 99% all college degrees. If you're a lawyer, yeah, of course you'll have a corresponding degree, but many jobs allow you to get far without even having finished college.

College is so far from a necessity. It's good if you can afford it, but putting a massive burden on your financial future is barely worth the psychological damage dreading your own ruin incurs.

Just because you don't go to college doesn't mean you can't learn important and valuable skills and even US employers are coming around on the fact - despite this elaborate MLM scheme still working just fine, by the looks of it.
