Ted Cruz calls for 'Christians only' refugee policy

I said you can't allow ONLY Christians.

Why can't you? The US sets our own immigration policy, and can accept, or not accept anyone we want. First Amendment rights don't exist for people not in America, and they sure as hell don't exist for non American's. SCOTUS has held that even our immigration policies can discriminate against anyone, and even persons applying for immigration, are not US citizens, and therefore do not have rights afforded to an American.

Seeing that Christians in the Middle East, are not beheading people, waging war, burning people alive, and then sneaking into other countries to kill hundreds of people, there is a good reason to discriminate.

One person in KY decided people their rights to marry, and we mocked the entirety of Christians in this country as being bigots. Just look at this thread, there is plenty of that going on right now. Go to /r/athiesm, one Christian person doing a shitty thing, means every Christian is a shitty person who doesn't deserve to live. Hell, one police officer does a shitty thing, every police officer is a blood thirsty racist.

After all, these are groups of people. Christians aren't the ones that are trying to create an Islamic State, and waging war against anyone who disagrees. If Muslims were the ones completely innocent in all of this, I say, sure bring em in. But, as it's shown, we already have a problem with actual US citizens, who are Muslims, trying to wage war here already, why even exacerbate that problem?

Sure, it sounds shitty, but what option do we have left? We, and Europe, have opened our arms up to Muslims for a while now. But, what has that gotten us? A morgue full of dead people. Now, the French attacks, only one was an Refugee. The others were actual French citizens, many the children of immigrants, or refugees from the past. So, it's not only radicalized ISIS members trying to sneak in, but the children of parents we brought in to have a better life, and apparently that's not even good enough, and they now feel they need to kill their country men that opened their arms to their families.

This is not only a problem with current refugees, but will create problems down the road too.

The best thing to do is to create refugee centers over there. It costs about $16k to bring a refugee from there to here, not including all the welfare benefits that may occur down the line, which would bring the cost up to about $65k in 5 years. The UN estimates that to care for 4 million people in Syria in refugee camps, it would cost around $2bn, which is about the same as bringing 30k refugees to the US. And, would only take about 20 sq acres of land.

I am for bringing in Christians. I am for bringing in Yazidi. I am for bringing in Kurdish Muslims only after sever vetting, as we do have allies in this area that can vet them. These are groups of people who are clean of this entire situation. I am not for randomly bringing people to this country just because, when we can house them over their far cheaper.
