Let’s not pretend this was ever anything close to a legitimate trial.

If there’s anything real to be learned from this, it isn’t that there’s a certain Texan with fewer ethical values than a snake. It’s that this method of dealing with a rouge president doesn’t work. Senators have shown their willing to vote with party lines to save their own faces. So the senate should no longer be the one who decides on such things.

Whatever. Fuck you GOP. I’m a guy in my twenties and I guarantee my kids will spend history class learning about the way the GOP dissolved after betting on a reality TV show host who’s proven at every chance that he couldn’t give less of a shit about the country or party.
