How about the fact that there's people with pedophile OCD? They're cursed with the constant concern that they're pedophiles, even though they're not. Intrusive thoughts and imagines torment them, convince them that they're terrible people. A sure sign that it's not true is the fact that it gives them terrible anxiety and depression, but do to the nature of OCD, that doesn't solve the problem.

As a sufferer of anxiety, intrusive thoughts, and PTSD, I can't even imagine. Just thinking about it makes me scared it'll happen to me.

Advancements in mental health treatment is what I hope for every day. Imagine the impact on society, being able to cure, not just treat, any person of their crippling mental issues? We'd live in a different world.
