Teenagers of reddit aged 13-18 what do you think defines your generation right now?

you have to be careful when people say they have mental health issues. when i was in my early 20s i talked to 3 different medical professionals about some mental health issues i had. they all shrugged it off and told me everyone feel that way. 15 years later i was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. it would have been nice to get there treatment i needed when i first asked for help.

maybe this is hope for the future. its good to have a generation that is more knowledgeable about mental health issues. there is still a huge stigma about this sort of thing. too often if i get into an argument with someone on reddit the person will check out my comment history and see that i have bipolar and will try to throw that in my face.
