Artie Corazon

Artie is the main character in one of my my story arcs, Battle Blood. He's a young adult, he attends college, doesn't have that many friends, has a crush on a cute girl, and his has a massive heart problem. Like, massive heart problem.

Artie was born with an abnormally large heart. Because of this, he produces way too much blood and has to use certain methods to drain it to prevent his body from overflowing with blood. Often times, he'll cut his arms and drain his blood, store it in a mason jar, and donate it to a blood bank to earn some extra cash. He's a part-time blood donor.

Also, due to his heart problem, his has an extreme fast regeneration rate. If you stab him, he'll heal faster than you can say, "Ew, you got blood all over me!" Because of his regeneration, he is able to withstand much more damage than a normal human being.

^{Fun Fact: At one point, Artie encounters a vampire who attempts to drink all of his blood. Unfortunately, he can regenerate faster that he's drained, and is immune to vampire infections.}
