Theft of Life

We are all slaves under capitalism, it's just that we have a much higher quality of life and some more freedoms than someone who is literally owned by another.

That's exactly right.

We do have a higher quality of life, and more freedoms. Those are exactly the things that separates a slave from someone that is merely oppressed by an institution designed to oppress them.

Slaves can't quit. Slaves generally don't have physical possessions. Slaves generally don't earn an income. Slaves generally don't have their own personal space. Slaves certainly don't get time off other than what is physically required.

Slavery is entirely incomparable to how we live.

But, Reddit doesn't like acknowledging the fact that being paid minimum wage with no benefits isn't literally the same as picking cotton in the Alabama heat.
