Theft Prevention

No reviews until someone test out my security. The bike gets kept in a garage, home + OEM alarms, heavy ass chain and ground anchor.

Considering your bike is quite desirable, I would consider upping your security a bit more than just a disc lock. Think of it this way...

Level 1 thief. The complete amateur. Couldn't punch steering lock.

Level 2 thief. Has stolen a few bikes. Likely the most common. He will break your steering lock but might be stumped by a decent disc lock or a chain.

Level 3 thief. Rarer. Disc locks are no problem for this guy. He can crop or cut all but the heaviest of chains too but may simply bypass them by using a van to lift your bike.

Level 4 thief. Has the tools to defeat pretty much anything given enough time. They'll eventually find and disable any trackers too.

Level 5 thief. Doesn't need a van to lift your bike. Your locks will be off, possibly almost silently. Trackers will be discarded and your bike will be away in a short amount of time.

Noise is a nice deterrent but I'd still only put your alarmed disc lock down as able to stop somewhere around a Level 2.5 thief. Locking the bike to something immovable with a decent chain forces your thief to be level 4 or up. There's very little you can do to stop the level 5 guy - but he won't target you randomly.
