Is there a no bullshit site that lists the testing results for jackets, pants n gloves?

It's apparent that you're a young, scared rider. And that's ok! But the first article you linked to is nearly worthless - with stating anything about the gear they tested, then there's no way to tell what they want you to avoid.

Yes, you can pay top dollar for a worthless fashion accessory. But those are actually few and far between.

My company helped coordinate products for the 2nd link you provided. (We distributed Bull-it for a brief period). CE ratings are not a great indicator of protection because you have slide protection and impact protection. SR6 aren't rated for impact protection even though they have better-than-average pockets for knee and hip guards.

As has been suggested, contact Revzilla and a rep will give you suggestions based on your budget and criteria. Their livelihood is based on customer trust - they know what is good and what is not based on feedback from their customers.

There's a lot of great, small manufacturers out there that wouldn't be able to afford the VERY expensive testing process to get (insert A, B, or C standard) certified. If an arbitrary certification method gains popularity, then that company might lose market share and die before they catch up.

Talk to people, dude. Most gear has a plethora of rider reviews and/or forum users happy to give you input.

If you can't find some gear that you like, and then find evaluations from people that've crashed in it, that's on you, not a lack of standardized testing.

Also, FYI, even for helmet testing there's no concrete proof any of the certifications are "the best". If you want to get a SNELL, DOT, and ECE helmet, it'll do a good job but not necessarily better than one only rated for DOT or ECE.
