Is there a place where I may pay a fee to drive a Ferrari F40 on a racecourse?

Sorry, what I drive now is not as impressive as the ones you have driven, haha. My "fun car" is a 2013 370z roadster, stick. I am fortunate enough to have a large amount roads here, where I can drive at great speed, and curves, and so forth. I drive it very hard, average speeds from 80-105. 110 sometimes... I went 135 once. The car doesn't "feel" like it was meant to go that fast. Things became "floaty" after 110/115 and made me very uncomfortable, I climbed to 135, and basically back from it immediately. The roads are hardly used. (I'm not racing around traffic, don't like those who do.) I have no idea why the county spent funds to have them paved so nicely, but I am secretly immensely grateful.

Some cars I've driven hard, s2000, which was fine, but maybe not as much as the praise it gets on this subreddit? Haha, that's just my opinion. Twin-turbo 350z, which had a load of other work. I don't know how much 350z was left in that car... that was the most intense thing I've driven. Connected, fast, the lag took time to get used too... not a fan of the lag... I've driven a supercharged cameros and c5 and c6 vettes, and just don't like them at all. Bulky, and "loose". Miata, but... sorry... just too slow. I test drove a newer Boxster. The steering felt disconnected.

That's it I'm afraid, pretty tame compared to where you are coming from, heh.... maybe minus that hopped up z.

There is a large lifestyle element that can go with it. Food, clothing/watches, boats, cars, you name it.

That's just so not who I am. I can/do love a car. I get that. I appreciate the engineering, and all the little details while driving, but I just can't do a whole culture. I'm too busy doing, frankly, more important things, imo, haha.

You make friends that transcend cars ownership.

Okay, that makes sense.

Have of heard of the term of taking a car by the scruff of the neck and showing it who's boss?

Yes, but probably not at the limits you are used too. I find myself turning TC off a lot in my car, when I'm doing the hard driving thing, as it wants to baby me, and it is a bit infuriating...

Sorting what is important and what isn't can be a challenge.

Can you tell me what you mean by sorting? I welcome a wealth of feedback. Maybe this is something hard to describe in text, as opposed to actual driving though.
