TIL In 1999, an unemployed woman living with her sister ended up taking a job giving massages to workers of a small tech startup named "Google". She was only paid $450 a week, but given stock options. Within 5 years she was worth millions, and the price of her stock has only continued to increase.

You don't think very much, do you?

That wasn't an irrelevant personal attack? You felt the need to throw in a personal attack in the end to make yourself seem righteous and infallible. In regards to the rest of your personal attack, I'll refrain from commenting. You're obviously not able to debate about something without personal attacks. Trust me, it doesn't help me see things from you perspective.

Perfect is the enemy of good. We can't make life 100% fair for everyone but we can try to approximate it as much as we can.

Great! I'm all for it. How can we start?

As you write out the main points of your plan, please keep in mind that I was born and raised in the Soviet Union. Bread lines were not fun, and bartering to put food on the table is not what I would consider making things as close to 100% fair for everyone. Please don't forget that the Soviet Union still had rich people. Oh, and they also held all the power.

The point is that your excuse of "life's not fair" doesn't fucking work.

How can it not work when you just said "perfect is the enemy of good"? How can we possibly have a world where everybody (or close to it) has a fair shot at everything if it isn't implemented flawlessly?

No. The social programs are more effective.

Sources? I've always thought that the problem with poverty is money.

Again, perfect is the enemy of good. Do you say "well we can't catch every murderer, might as well not have laws, cops, courts." Only if you're a fucking idiot.

When did I ever advocate for anarchy?

Only one of us is claiming that if we can't do it 100% perfect we shouldn't even try. That person is the idiot.

According to you, it can never be 100% perfect. Please define what your level of fairness in society should be.

Honestly, you sound like just another lazy and entitled narcissist. Let me tell you something. Your naive dream will never, ever be a reality. Don't get me wrong, it sounds wonderful on paper, but so did the Soviet Union. It was a shit hole. My family and I didn't move to the US in order to have some entitled American (who is most likely at least a second generation American) tell me about how life is unfair and it's such a great injustice. Nobody cares about you and the issues you are facing. You are expendable and from the sound of it, quite useless. Check your privilege, fuck face.

Goodbye, comrade. I hope I see you in the bread lines some day. I'll be sure to show you how fair life is when I take your bread. And if I'm really hungry, well... you probably read a history book or two, I'm sure you know what Russians resorted to during the Siege of Leningrad. Have a fucked up day, entitled prick :)
