Right that's what they're doing. Not defending vile people who do vile shit just because they're involved in sports, and downvoting anyone who calls them out on it by misrepresenting them and trying to shame them based on that misrepresentation, which incidentally would only be considered shameful by the sort of person who would rationalize throwing someone through a window and wishing it were higher off the ground so that they would die for throwing a drink on them then doubling down and defending their actions in an interview as acceptable behavior. That couldnt be what they're doing. Words wouldn't exist to describe how stupid that would be.
