I took the brunt of the punishment as a child out of my 3 brothers , I would get tied with ropes on the floor in a a sitting position legs tied hands tied and be thrown in a dark room by my dad if i did anything without permission i would get hit with a leather belt by him my other brothers didn't get hit as bad or punished they were scolded from time to time but only i suffered the heavy hits as a kid from when i was in 5th grade-7th grade .

i think part of it was my father expected great things out of me i was good at school my father gave me stuff only if i did well in school i never celebrated birthdays only once in my childhood i remember my mother sneaking in the room to cut me loose from the ropes in the middle of the night .

I bear no grudge on my parents i was a mischievous child i would come back from school and run over to my friends and stay with him granted he lived close to me and he wanted me to come over his parents were nice i would have dinner with them or lunch sometimes by sneaking out and come home fully taking the punishment because i thought i deserved it there was this one instance where my father tried to hit me on my head and ended up fracturing his hand , And i was the most anti social person in those years

Tldr:- I would get the brunt of the punishment at the household and 1 would not say anything about it my teachers would ask me and friends about what happened but i never would say anything about it siblings would act like nothing ever happened had no one to vent to tried running from house on a couple of occasions tried sleeping outside the house but wouldn't last a couple of hours , Now that i think about it my story feels like a sad one but i never thought about it like that before everything was normal for me
