TIL port facilities get a security level based on threats the government knows of, impacting the measures around a port facility. Basically we can know how safe we are based on how close we can get to boats (even if threats aren't made public by the government).

I never said it was certainly 500 feet for the exclusion, I said that there were instances where the harbor is entirly closed, you said bullshit so I gave you a few examples of how that codul be true, examples which lie well withing the error of margin for my observations (specifically, 500 feet is WAY smaller than 10,560 feet, so I only needed 5% of the total exclusion to prove my point, it didn't matter if my numbers were perfectly accurate, it waas an illustrative point, and you STILL denied my point based on flawed math, because you are an idiot. I made that number to illustrate that YES the whole harbor can be closed (well, at least sections) due to a ship entering, I never said all ships, I specifically said ships carrying LNG, tankers or otherwise. I didn't say all ships were 150 feet wide, I said they CAN be 150 feet wide by illustrating that in light of the argument that the whole harbor couldn't be closed (which, even with a ship 1 foot wide carrying LNG, with a 500 foot exclusion zone, it CAN be closed far enough up river.

You seriously have never been on a boat in the ocean, have you.

So, you are wrong, and a liar when you said the harbor coudln't be closed, and that there were no regulations about it, there are, you cited them later in your statement, and then you flew off the handle when I refused to cite sources. I think you shoudl seek professional mental health assistance, you clearly need it to chill out and enjoy life a bit more.

I was out boating with a bunch of geniuses, and they did some math out of their heads to see what the potential destructive power could be, yes, worst case scenario included. never claimed a different source than napkin math.
