TIL that three teenage boys posed as young girls online, luring men into clandestine meetings. The boys then confronted the men at the meeting spot dressed as Batman and the Flash whilst filming the whole thing

Depending on the text, depending on the nature of the conversations the three teenage boys could very well be targeting sympathetic individuals who're not smart enough to call the right authorities for aid.

For example I had a younger friend, never met the friend, she were from China but they shared enough information with me that we held a few conversations. I was 22 they were 17. She wanted to know if Vermont was a good state to visit for student exchange. I told the person the facts about my state. Told the person everything she needed to know. Good and the bad.

They came to Vermont. Suddenly I got messages months later from the friend and they were getting harassed and abused by their host family. Through conversation I grew steadily concerned for this individual, I was almost willing to meet to help. However I thought quick on my feet and came up with a plan.

The friend provided me the host family's phone number. So naturally I called them and informed them who I was. I informed them that I'd contact the police if they did not respect their student guest as they're paid by the state to provide support for these exchange students. I told the host family my name and I told them my exact affiliation with this friend. I'm a fairly known figure in my area. I know all the cops. I also fix everyone's electronics.

A year later after getting out of the environment and moving the friend from China moved to Canada(College, Work and Protection.). The person added me on Facebook and thanked me for standing up for her. The friend talks with me once in a Blue Moon, but I guess I stand as a reminder for someone who helped her out of kindness while she was under duress.

I don't regret these actions. I hope anyone reads this will learn to not confront a person in public about such issues if they are young. They need to go through the proper channels. Police or school board.
