I didn't say it was. the numbers are not representative of how long a book will take, they are representative of how many words are ina book as measured by number of words divided by words per minute. as I said in my previous comment.

It didn't claim that. in fact it had a disclaimer specifically stating that it didn't do that. they never lied or attempted to mislead what the data was. it is just a fun way to conceptualize the number of words in various books.

It's right and reasonable to judge the information by what it is claiming to convey.

It is claiming to convey the number of words in a book as a unit of time converted using average WPM. which is what it is.

The only reason you would think differently is if you didn't bother reading what they wrote.

It is a fun way of conveying data, nothing more.
