Tomorrow I'll be arrested

How did it get to the point where the Landlord is in the position to be able to have you 'arrested' tomorrow in the first place? Such thing don't happen overnight.

Don't you have a Dept of Consumer Affairs or Residential Tenancies Act you can refer to?

Surely for the LL to talk up you being arrested suggests to me the conversations haven't been exactly like you say OR you were originally happy to accept what you took BUT as time went by, you got pissy with the LL who got pissy back

"The best thing about banging your head against the wall, is stopping"

I want them homeless, like they've made so many others, particularly refugees.

"an eye for an eye makes everybody blind!"

that's not what you want, please think about it

It is however, a crazy 'murican idea to sue for everything! Why can't you guys stop using force and get with the 'cooperation' side of the world?

The BEST outcome you could get is to somehow convince this/these landlords they are behaving in a way which hurts people and that if they changed this behavior it would help everyone!

The real "problem" here is that you are ALL saying "I want" this and I want that, fuck anyone else, it's all about meeee!

you want

they want

It's ALL about "you"on both sides ... not about "them" or (truly) 'others', this is two people who want their own way at odds with each other, which is why there are Laws

How about TRYING TO CHANGE THIS?

You want revenge, not repeal of this landlord's behavior, as you suggest

The university should be taking a stronger stance against these landlords as a significant portion of the students rent from landlords in the neighborhood.

So, what are you DOing about changing this IF as you say, the Uni is so involved, OR do you think the Uni DGAF?

There are many ways to skin a cat, but maybe you don't really want the skin, you just want to kill it? Maybe you're projecting your anger, idk, but something's not 'right' with this OP
