Yes, that kinda validates the point doesn't it - that sometimes it is best to just silently leave a situation and not speak up about not wanting to stay in touch with somebody.
I'm sure there are plenty of crazy women, and when you can provide some articles about men being killed and raped by them it will be worth sharing. That is not seen everyday like for a man to kill a woman because his feelings were hurt. The mindset too often is: "if I can't have her nobody will" because women are still treated as property and objects for a man's pleasure.
