As a warriors fan have to say that was a major factor. MDA chooses a strategy for a series and only pushes that single strategy every game. When Durant went out last game, the team did not adapt correctly and the rotation didn’t adjust.

That is understandable within a short time frame of a quarter, but there was a day and a half to adjust to that change since then. The old warriors splash bros playstyle was arguably harder for the Rockets than the KD era Warriors because it requires more endurance to guard with the increased movement. Harden was slow to return on defense on plenty of possessions and it was noticeable.

Honestly you gave a great series. I agree DMA needs to increase the base strategy of the team to adjust. Also sorry Draymond was Draymond, I never like seeing any player get injured and eye injuries are awful. I hope Harden recovers.
