There is/are measles cases in San Antonio and they are being treated at the hospital my partner is supposed to give birth at. When she asked if she could give birth at one of the (many) other hospitals in the same network, she (and many others who asked in a Facebook group) was told no. I fear for my infants life; this place already has one of the highest infant mortality rates. But, you know, we're not rich (she's on state aid) so yeah...this is America.
