I know some of them say that vaccines cause “autism” but from what i’ve seen it doesn’t seem like those negatively affected by vaccines are getting autism, although they may have similar symptoms/results. I think this word “autism” should be taken out of the national discussion regarding anti vs pro vaccine. I think a lot of smol ones who have experienced adverse affects from the metals injections are getting serious brain injuries from these things and these moms and/or doctors are just calling it autism bc that’s what it looks like. Not getting polio/measles is awesome and something we can think modern medicine for (i think? i just saw a post saying that polio died on its own?) considering i cant even imagine living in a world like that. But also watching a newborn sustain serious brain injuries from those things sounds just as apocalyptic to me.

Also, i have a medical exemption from vaccines bc i have a long family history of auto immune disorders, so i am one of the people that rely on “herd immunity” to not get polio. As someone who is 100% okay with others getting vaccines and vaccinating their new borns at any rate they want, i still wouldn’t want anyone to get forced into a medical procedure they didn’t want.

Again, i am not anti vaccines. I believe people have the right to whatever medical care they choose, and a mother should have the right to give her baby whatever medical care she should want (whether that be vaccine injections). But i don’t feel comfortable with people on my side (pro medicine) pushing this ideal that it should be okay to force people to get vaccines. Regardless of what the medical treatment it, it just seems like a slippery rope to me. I work for a mom who had her baby in the hospital and apparently had to leave the room for a quick second for a reason i don’t remember. When she came back, her baby was in the middle of receiving shots. She was like “uhm....i ....hi?” and the doctor basically replied with something about “routine procedure”. It’s haunted her ever since.

Get vaccines and advocate vaccines all you want, again, herd immunity dependent over here. But i really don’t like this “if they don’t want to, let’s just poke me when they aren’t lookin!” mentality.
