Trump: Shutdown has 'higher purpose than next week's pay'

He's just throwing out bullshit now.

He is going to have to turn over information about his hotels and other business dealings once the government reopens.

Mueller still has the questionnaire Trump filled out where he most likely perjured himself due to faulty information he and Manafort worked together to lie about.

The tax cuts are a bust. The trade war with China is already lost, but he won't stop it.

North Korea never stopped their nuke program, and is threatening to expand it if the US doesn't make concessions.

Cohen is in jail, and literally the only reason Trump isn't in there with him is because he is the President.

The WH and Turkey are still discussing shipping someone back to Turkey to be tortured and killed in order to make Turkey stop publicly caring about the US resident that Saudi Arabia tortured and killed.

The economy is failing, and a recession is likely on the way if the trade wars continue. The TPP without the US means the US will lose a lot of business starting soon. The new NAFTA still isn't in place.

Trump has been compromised by Russia since before the election, as Russia was kind enough to demonstrate by revealing emails they had regarding a Trump Tower in Moscow.

....It may be easier to list the things that Trump isn't trying to make people forget about rather than what he is.
