Trump voter here exploring. I voted Trump because he vowed to help bring manufacturing jobs back. As I research more, I realize that gains will be temporary and Yang seems to have thought this out. I hate the Dems for the way they have treated Trump and his supporters but Andrew has been respectful.

I simply provided one source to a trained economist whose math might meet your standards.

Again, there is no "basic math" in matters of serious economic complexity.

It's like you saying you believe in evolution, and me saying I want you to "prove" it to me in basic terms. "Give me a formula/diagram showing that this IS TRUE!"

You can give me an idiotic, one-dimensional version of the theory that can easily be hole-poked, then tango with me as I make a bunch of simple criticism not actually correspondent to the real science. Or you could redirect me toward a few thousand pages of explanatory literature in the hopes that I may eventually understand the theory beyond some "basic" rendering.

Again, you are presuming the idiocy of an enormous number of educated, thoughtful people. It is not as simple as you want to imagine it is. How is it even conceivable that thousands of people are working on something for decades that does not hold up to "basic math"? How can you actually believe this? (Please spare me the historical examples -- Galileo, etc.)

I can tell from the dismissive tone that you have found a useful heuristic for getting through day-to-day life. This same mentality is not applicable in serious study or research.
