Walmart’s underlying system of politics is unique to Walmart. It is well known and consistent throughout the company. And it goes completely against the values the company promotes publicly and to associates. This isn’t a rant where I’m upset and venting. It is good to expose this for what it is as opposed to what they desire their image to be. Let’s all understand the reality here and exactly what is going on. If it helps another person not be completely shocked when all they worked hard for is lost before they planned, then it is good. If it helps bring clarity to an associate as to why their store feels like the pit of hell, then it’s good. If it lands on Doug’s desk and )god forbid) causes him to reflect, then it went from good to great. Cause they like that good to great don’t they
