Yeah I don’t understand the weird aggression she was inspiring in that thread… I’ve never gotten into her music, but I read the article out of curiosity. She comes off as a really decent person with genuine human concerns and lot more money than me. At the end of the day, that describes most of the musicians I love… plus, people obviously like her music because they like her music. It doesn’t exactly captivate me but I can definitely understand the appeal! If you’re interested in music made by people without a lot of money and genuine anarcho-capitalist concerns, there’s plenty of good shit being made! Why shit on a young, well-liked musician for giving an what seemed like and honest and inoffensive interview? There’s no way she could win for those people anyway.
