What do you want? Pictures of the scars and sores that are covering her skin? A picture of her hair that was so filthy and tangled that she needed to be shaved bald? Pictures of her crying? Pictures of her cracking a smile when I shaved my head in solidarity with her? A video of the space she was trapped in, knee-deep in trash and feces? A photo of the room where they kept the bed that she was raped on? Call the news because I have it all on my phone.

This is all true. You just cannot believe it because you don't want to accept that people can be that evil. But they are. Satan is real but so is God and so is love and bravery and sacrifice and now Katie is free. All I have is my credit card which is rapidly depleting. I am about to be homeless myself because I have trouble keeping a job due to my Autism, but I am giving all I have to help Katie and will continue to do so until I don't have a penny in my pocket.

She won't accept help from agencies because she is scared that they will send her back. This is up to the community. If you won't help her, maybe someone else will.
