Is it normal for me to be extremely mad at my parents for not realising i was autistic sooner?

My parents did everything. My brother and I both had multiple assessments done. We had accommodations in high school for learning disabilities in memory, which were misdiagnosed and really autism & adhd. Some accommodations did more harm than good. We had private tutoring. I needed to do 6 hours of tutoring in one week just to get through an exam, ontop of weekly tutoring. It was absurd that no one noticed how much harder I had to work than other kids in high school and all people commented on was my incredible work ethic. LOL I was trying to survive.

In addition one of my parents business partners started an autism charity that we all volunteered with. Nobody knew anything about autism in the 1990s. Like, we were in all the right places to be diagnosed but it wasn’t.

I often hear people say that they are mad at their parents. I would be too if they dismissed my concerns, but if they had taken you to be assessed there might not have been answers for you.
