/u/juliantheguy perfectly explains why Trump Supporter distrust the news and why some of his actions don't seem insane to them

Its that point of view that I was trying to understand. I appreciate Julian's responses because he explains them in a way I can relate to. They come from a place of skepticism while still understanding the mindset of the other side.

I for one have been desperate for some understanding of why all this seems OK to them. Any explanation that was better then "liberal tears" is nice to come by. Also I think he make a great point on how the media treats Trump. They like many of us desperately want something to bring him down. And its that very same desperate nature stops them from being unbiased. Something New just shouldn't be because it fosters distrust. We dont mind because I agree with them and can push through to the facts but if you are a supporter sticking around while they subtlety be bias to get to the facts may not interest you. Honestly I can't say I don't do the same. Which is why I try and get my news from the most unbiased sources I can find. See I'm the kinda person who likes to see a full picture and not just one side. Even the comment here kinda show a bias rather then a interest in understanding.

Also when it come to legality, Trump hasn't done anything "Illegal" or anything outside of his power with the exception of the Ban; which has resulted in lawsuits that will eventually define there legality. We may not like it, we may not agree, we may try and change it for the future but as of this moment it is legal.

Sorry for the long post.
