I don't think it's banal money laundering, although that's a part of it. I don't think it's sex stuff, either - I mean, he's basically public about raw dogging pornstars, and once someone is in that territory, it's hard to find surprises. I don't think it's the pee tape, either. His base will 1) not watch it 2) question its validity. I think it's a combination of things so horrific that even mentioning them will send the evangelicals screaming and piling into unscheduled prayer circles.
First, I'm guessing he has a connection to prostitution, possibly slavery and trafficking, possibly underage, possibly with very high-profile clients via his beauty pageants. Russia is so fucked up sexually that no one would bat an eye at stuff those girls had to do to be part of that game. Anyone know what the Russian mob did to girls who fucked up in some major way? They inserted a champagne glass into the vagina and stomped on the pelvic bone. Imagine that for a sec. All those nerve endings sliced by thousands of shards of glass with no way to get the glass out.
Second, it's probably some indisputable proof that the Russian oligarchs and the large chunk of the GOP are working together. What's the one thing American politicians do 80% of their time in office? They fundraise to get re-elected. What's the one thing Russian oligarchs struggle with the most? Hiding their ill-gotten billions while avoiding the sanctions. Does anyone really think there's no synergy there, especially now that a 3rd party real estate developer with long construction and mob ties became the executive branch?
There is literally zero reasons for a US president to purposely destroy decades of mutual friendship and neighborly love between the US and Canada. None. All that nonsense he's blabbering about 270% milk tariff is red herring - Canada charges us to import our milk while letting our services and service product go tariff-free. It's a complex set of packaged arrangements that can be easily talked about in a civil and respectful fashion.
The point is, it ain't just the pee tape.
