That's an interesting lens. The most powerful performances happen when a person fully commits to their role, temporarily becoming the character they are portraying. In this historic moment of national crisis, President Zelenskyy has so fully committed to his role as a heroic wartime leader that he has truly become one. There is no going back to the comfortable life that he once enjoyed. At a time when his country needed more from their leader than any man could provide, he has chosen to sacrifice everything. He placed his life on the line, refuses to retreat, and is willing to keep fighting until his dying breath.

Zelenskyy has chosen to sacrifice everything in order to serve his people, consequences (and fucking Russian warships) be damned. This will likely be his final role, and I suspect he will be remembered as one of the Greats.
