What are some common signs that someone grew up with sh*tty parents?

The big sign for me is a refusal to admit being wrong or less than perfect under any circunstances. This is from "Christian" people.

I went largely NC with my parents after moving out. Several times I reconsidered and initiated contact only to realize NC is still the best course of action. Last time was 2 years ago Mom asked if I would forgive her. I said yes, but we need to have a conversation about what I am forgiving her for (I do practice forgiveness, but to be in a relationship with her, boundaries would need to be set). She replied that in here entire life she has never done anything she felt she needed to apologise for. Taking her reply as a hard NO, I decided against to further contact.
