I try to go for introverted types but just cause someone is introverted it doesn't mean they'll like me cause the communication gap is still there.

Lol I have a neurodiversity radar and I can pick up if someone has ND traits. The person I last dated had ND traits. Issues with certain foods, sensory problems, meltdowns, stimming movements, difficulties in socializing etc. His parents were overprotective. I think he was on the spectrum and he or his parents had trouble accepting it. He was very mean to me. He called me gross over my body acne even though he had too. He wore the same clothes regularly but would lecture me for not wearing makeup and stuff. I accepted his quirks but none of mine were accepted. I went a weekend trip and he got jealous, when I came back he started arguing and threatened to punch me. I cringe at how he treated me.

I don't know if neurodivergent people will be more accepting but I have no problem dating someone with a disability in a broader sense. Like someone who's deaf.

Maybe society is quite focused on how high functioning neurodivergents are and we impose it on one another
