Interested in all of this as well. We had an offer accepted on a home last week. Later that day, we also found out that our current landlords are planning on selling the townhouse that we're currently in. Our lease doesn't expire until the end of July, but they're looking to sell ASAP in order to take advantage of the current market. The good news for us is that it means that we won't have to double up on rent/mortgage; the bad news is that if the sale falls through for any reason, my family is out of a home. I don't think there are any reasons why the sale will fall through, but I am worried about the appraisal coming in low and/or taking longer than it should.
